BURGERS
There are a wide variety of burgers at Grill'd, and all of them can be served with a gluten free bun (no offence to grill'd but yuck. I hate gluten free bread and this falls into that category) or with no bun at all. The staff are very well informed about what's gluten free and what's not, so go ahead and ask them other questions that I don't answer here.
CHIPS
Their are four types of hot chips at Grill'd - "Our Famous Grill'd Chips" (Potato wedges with seasoning. Very yummy, would recommend), "Avocado Chips" (Haven't tried these), "Sweet Potato Chips" (I've not tried these either >.<) and "Zucchini Chips" (You guessed it- I haven't tried these either). Of these four options, they are all gluten free, Vegetarian and Vegan. Woo-hoo!
CONTAMINATION
One of the main reasons that finding good gluten-friendly restaurants is a struggle. When the restaurant says something is gluten-free, they usually mean by ingredient. For coeliacs and people with wheat allergies, they also need to ask about separate gloves, separate fryers, ovens, etc. It gets to be a real pain. Luckily, Grill'd uses separate gloves for gluten-free burgers (just remind them it's for a person with a sensitive allergy) and as all their chips are gluten free, the separate fryer thing isn't an issue!
SALADS
One of Grill'd's other options is their salads. There are 3 options on the salad menu - "Super Power Salad", "Chicken, Pomegranate & Goat's Cheese Salad" and "Chicken Caesar Salad".
The Super Power salad and the Chicken Pomegranate are both gluten free, but the Chicken Caesar is not.
MINI ME'S
The Mini Me's are the kid's packs. They are available without a bun. Better for kids under 7 (coming from the 11 year old who still gets the mini-me pack)
